Foreseeing the need to cultivate young aspiring artists who show the promise of pursuing a professional dance career, The Gibson Repertory Ensemble was formed at Eagle’s Landing Dance Center by Artistic Director Vanessa Banks Gibson and Zachary Todd in 2017. The members of the ensemble are chosen through an extensive evaluation process, and then trained at a professional level in preparation for the performance season. The Gibson Repertory Ensemble serves as a resource for the most promising students of Eagle’s Landing Dance Center to receive exposure within the professional dance community. Members of the repertory ensemble will focus heavily on the refinement of their dance technique, dance vocabulary, artist branding/development, and proper etiquette for studio, stage and touring.

Our goal is to provide an opportunity for young artists to develop their dance skills while serving their community and touring around the nation with dance performances of the highest artistic quality. The Gibson Repertory Ensemble performs at many social and community events, including public schools, colleges, churches, corporate and civic events.
