GIBSON REPERTORY ENSEMBLE  PRESENTS: 
EXCELSIOR

Eagles Landing Dance Center’s Gibson Repertory Ensemble will present Excelsior, a program of six contemporary dance works, on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the American Cancer Society Center. Excelsior features works by choreographers Tyrell Rolle, Xavier DeMar, LaMia Dingle, Patrick “PK” Smith, Erin Smith and Raianna Brown. In addition, special guest performances by Norma's Academy of Dance and Martha Ellen Stilwell School of the Arts will be featured on the program. This evening of dance presented by some of Georgia's most talented pre-professional artists, is one you won't want to miss!

SUMMER INTENSIVE 2019

Now in it's 6th year, the TranscenDANCE Summer Intensive program is geared toward students who have strong technical training and want to take their craft to the next level. TranscenDANCE is open to dancers ages 9 and older, particularly those who display talent, maturity, and meet technical requirements in order to participate. Dancers will attend daily ballet and supplementary somatics classes, which will prepare them to spend the day with two selected choreographers. Dancers will work with choreographers to create original works, which will be shared in a showing at the conclusion of the two-week intensive.
